the eye care profession. It is designed to benefit
optometrists, opticians, optometric staff, and others who are
working in the optical field. Our site categories include
employment needs, our unique Relief Hunter system, practice
opportunities, optical equipment, and networking forums. Our site
is designed to help optometric professionals network easily,
efficiently and effectively with others in the eye care field.

ad has been posted that matches your needs. This saves you

Our Relief
Hunter service is a completely automated, interactive
system that makes finding Relief Doctors and Relief Work
simple. Each subscriber simply clicks on the days
each month they need relief services or a relief worker, and
they are then notified when a match is found.

What fees do you charge for this
service?
We
currently have two levels of membership. The Buyer level is
for those wanting only to buy and sell equipment. We charge
3.00 for 1 month, 6.00 dollars for 3 months, and 15.00 dollars
for 1 full year. The Networker level provides full site access
for
unlimited employment, relief work and equipment listings and
searches. We charge 15.00 for 1 month, 30.00 for 3 months, or
55.00 for 1 year of full access to our services. Subscribe today!
How do I pay for this service?
EyeHunter
accepts all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover). We use a secure, encrypted server to protect
your privacy and credit information. You credit card number are
never stored by EyeHunter after authorization. Full access
to our site and services is available immediately for your convenience.
Is it safe to pay with credit card on
EyeHunter?
Yes,
we use 128 bit SSL secure server certificates to encrypt all
credit card transactions. This far exceeds the industry
standard for encryption. We have also decided not to save
credit card numbers, even on our secure servers. Once the
transaction is complete we immediately discard all credit card
numbers.
How do I upgrade
or extend my
membership?
You will find a link to the upgrade
form at the top of your profile
page.
How will I know if my membership
has been activated?
Once
you complete the subscription process you will receive an automated
email confirmation. Full site access is available immediately
after we confirm your payment information so you can start searching
today!
Will
I receive "junk" email (spam) after subscribing to EyeHunter?
As stated in EyeHunter's Privacy
Policy, we do not sell or share any of your information to third
parties. The only email you will receive will come directly
from EyeHunter or from those interested in your ads. You will
always have the option of stopping any or all of EyeHunter's
correspondences.
How long will my ad stay
posted?
All
ads (employment ads, equipment, practices) will stay posted for
90 days unless you choose to modify or delete your ad before
this time.
What if I want to cancel or modify
my ad?
Any of your personal information can be changed at any time by
going to your personal account profile (MyHunter).
Your personal profile page will allow you to modify or cancel an ad
instantly. Every three weeks you will receive an email with a
simple link to delete any ads that are outdated. This way we
can insure that only current ads are available on EyeHunter.
Can
I place a "blind" listing?
Blind
listings are certainly permitted. If you are concerned about
others obtaining your email address or other contact information
simply check the "blind listing" box when placing your
listing. It will still be easy for others to contact you via
email. They will have the opportunity to email you directly
from our site. You can then elect to respond or not.
Is
my credit card information safe?
We
take security very seriously. Your transaction is done over a
secure, encrypted connection. More importantly, we do not store your
credit card numbers. This information is discarded immediately after
authorization.
